Edit: I have opened up donations again. They are sure to make me work on IPTBB more often, if anyone donates that is. :) I have decided to post a quick update in plain sight so everyone knows. I am still here. No one really asks if i have left or anything, but I know if i was browsing around and saw the last news post was almost a year ago i would think the software or site was abandoned... but this isn't the case. If anyone knows me reads this, you know i am just lazy. It is a tradition of mine! :D Anyways, i am here. I check the forums all the time. Even if i don't respond right away (or at all) doesn't mean i haven't read your posts! So, for IPTBB specific news... well.. It has almost been a year since the last release. That was an anniversary release, which is also coming up... August 3rd IPTBB turns 4 years old! Woohoo! So i hope to do some stuff this coming week and knock out a full new version. If i cant manage that, i will at least have a patch out by/on the 3rd. I know i need to release more, but i just can't get around to it.. i guess i got burnt out of IPTBB for a while there. So i still plan on doing a total recode for 0.6... but its sad when you think about it. We have code for 0.6 already, but the recode started 2 years ago... haha. It is still on the back burner, and i do hope to change that someday. Anyways, I'm still here. I know there is an "IPTBB Team", but its not so much a multi person thing. It has mostly been a solo or duo act with me or Surreal. Its not bad, but i wish more people would help if they could... but i cannot expect them to work on my software when i don't even actively do it. Until next time! --------------- Yarr. |

Indeed. Well, i was planning for a release as of tuesday... But i have been busy this last week, so that never happened. I will extend the deadline of a release to sometime this month. This will give me time to get more done. :) --------------- Yarr. |

I think IPTBB needs emoticons. I think you should be able to find some free ones out there somewhere. SUMR is using some. I was going to write down the source and credit it in the readme/copyright; but I lost it so I don't know who it's from. :o --------------- AXSN, The future of Development |
