Edit: I have opened up donations again. They are sure to make me work on IPTBB more often, if anyone donates that is. :)
I have decided to post a quick update in plain sight so everyone knows.
I am still here.
No one really asks if i have left or anything, but I know if i was browsing around and saw the last news post was almost a year ago i would think the software or site was abandoned... but this isn't the case. If anyone knows me reads this, you know i am just lazy. It is a tradition of mine! :D Anyways, i am here. I check the forums all the time. Even if i don't respond right away (or at all) doesn't mean i haven't read your posts!
So, for IPTBB specific news... well.. It has almost been a year since the last release. That was an anniversary release, which is also coming up... August 3rd IPTBB turns 4 years old! Woohoo! So i hope to do some stuff this coming week and knock out a full new version. If i cant manage that, i will at least have a patch out by/on the 3rd. I know i need to release more, but i just can't get around to it.. i guess i got burnt out of IPTBB for a while there.
So i still plan on doing a total recode for 0.6... but its sad when you think about it. We have code for 0.6 already, but the recode started 2 years ago... haha. It is still on the back burner, and i do hope to change that someday.
Anyways, I'm still here. I know there is an "IPTBB Team", but its not so much a multi person thing. It has mostly been a solo or duo act with me or Surreal. Its not bad, but i wish more people would help if they could... but i cannot expect them to work on my software when i don't even actively do it.

Update (January 18th): To go along with a new logo, we also need a new default avatar, as well as the Users Online and Statistics images.
Just so you know if you give an image for us to use, we can use it however we see fit. It is our image when you submit it. Thanks!
Well, we have a logo... but the colors are off.
And I can't change it because i don't have the PSD file.
So, if anyone would like to contribute one, please do.
You can submit new designs and ill pick the coolest, or remake one similar to the current one (but with the correct colors). All i ask is that you provide the PSD file.
You will be mentioned in the next release post for your efforts! :D
This also reminds me, I am planning on making a contributor page for the main website. If you have contributed to IPTBB and i forgot, please comment and i will make sure i add you to the page (when its up).

I am currently developing a file that one can include on their main website, and have it pull topics from their IPTBB installation and have them output like a news script.
This is currently on the main IPTBB website, so if you go their you should see this topic as a news post. :D
Something i wanted to do for awhile because i was tired of manually updating the main website and i figured it didn't need some random script... and people might use this. :D
It's not completely finished yet, but it will be in the next release. :) |

Finally! A new release!
I finally got 0.5.7 out. A few months late, but better late then never! :D

If you did something i forgot about, just bug me about it until i update the list. :P
To install:
Upload it and run setup/install.php
(index.php will give you a link to install if not already installed as well)
To upgrade:
You MUST have IPTBB 0.5.6 installed.
Upload all the files (except config-empty.php) and run setup/upgrade.php
Note: You will not be prompted to upgrade after you transfer the files, so remember to do it!
